Precision Needle WDT Tool — Break Clumps, Even Extraction
A needle distribution (WDT) tool that breaks up clumps in the portafilter for a more even puck. Fine needles stir through the grounds to reduce channeling and balance water flow, for a fuller, more even extraction.
Freshly ground coffee clumps, and clumps cause channeling. The Precision Needle WDT Tool uses thin needles to gently stir and separate the grounds before you tamp, so water flows evenly through the puck during pre-infusion and extraction — lifting the quality of the pour and the flavour in the cup.

What the WDT tool does for your shot
Distribution is the step that quietly makes or breaks an espresso.
Breaks up clumps
Thin acupuncture-style needles break up clumps of coffee in the basket for a more even bed of grounds.
Less channeling
An even puck means water can't find an easy path through, which minimises channeling in the shot.
Balanced water flow
Even distribution balances the flow rate through the puck for a fuller, more even extraction.
Simple to use
Just stir the grounds in your portafilter before tamping — a few seconds for a noticeably better shot.
