What sets the GS5 apart

For filter coffee, burr size and fine adjustment do the heavy lifting — and the GS5 leads the range on both.

Large 80 mm burrs

A bigger burr set grinds filter coffee cleanly and evenly, developing clarity and sweetness across pour-over, batch brew and drip.

Micrometric adjustment

The micrometric wheel on the front makes fine, repeatable changes to the grind, so you can chase the exact filter profile you want.

Touchscreen timed dosing

Set a timed dose on the touchscreen or grind manually, with a shot timer on screen for consistent, hands-free dosing.

Brushless motor

A brushless electric motor runs smoothly and is built to last, driving the large burrs without fuss.

Who it's for

  • Filter-first home brewers who want café-level grind quality
  • Pour-over, batch-brew and drip drinkers chasing clarity and sweetness

Good to know: the micrometric wheel makes very small, repeatable changes — note the setting for each coffee and brewer so you can return to a dialled-in filter grind instantly.

Getting the best out of it

Filter coffee shows off small changes in grind, so use the micrometric wheel to move in small steps and taste as you go. Set a timed dose for your usual brew to keep things consistent, and see how the GS5 compares with the smaller GS3 and GS1 filter grinders in the coffee grinders collection.
